E mail Challenge
@ 2005-08-13 - 15:28:35Last year The Emergency Rescue Corps Annual E Mail Challenge Clocked up a total hit rate of 2,456,373 hits, the lead county was Essex with total of 78,412
This is a Challenge between counties to see how many hits they can receive on a single page via e-mailing a page link to only two friends and they do the same and so on down the line.
The Challenge:
In theory, if one person sends an e-mail to just two friends, and they send it on to two friends each and so on, it doubles every time, therefore it is possible that after only 25 doubles it will have gone out to over 20 Million people, see numbers below......
(01) = to 2
(02) = to 4
(03) = to 8
(04) = to16
(05) = to 32
(10) = to 624
(15) = to 19,968
(20) = to 638,976
(25) = to 20,447,232
To monitor the Challenge:
This challenge is just that, a challenge, however, to give it more breath and make it into an inter county competion we start the e-mail(s) off in individual counties, people are asked to click on a link to a page on the ERC web-site, and we can monitor the hits on each county page..
To take part and for more information plus receive your County Page Link, click on the web address below....

E-mail two friends and ask them to pass it on to two of their friends and Make Your County the top in 2005 (there are no costs involved the challenge is just for the fun of it)
